Our love story began in Seattle, Washington, in October 2019, when we met and instantly felt a special connection. In November 2020, we decided to drive across the country with Roxanne’s three dogs, starting a new chapter in Georgia. Over the next five years, we built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure in Smyrna, Georgia. Now, we’re excitedly relocating for Ivan’s work to Alexandria, Virginia, just outside Washington D.C., ready to start the next chapter of our journey together. Throughout our time together, we’ve traveled far and wide, visiting 51 National Parks across the U.S. and exploring nearly every state. Our adventures have also taken us to Mexico, The United Kingdom, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We’re excited for the travels ahead—whether it’s hiking in new parks, relaxing on beaches, or exploring cities around the world. We’re especially looking forward to our upcoming trips to places like Jordan and Peru, as well as continuing our U.S. road trips to new destinations.

In January 2024, Ivan completely surprised Roxanne with a proposal during a weekend getaway to Canada. He took her to the beach at Stanley Park in Vancouver, the same spot where they had shared one of their first dates nearly five years prior. With a secret photographer capturing the moment, Ivan serenaded Roxanne with one of her favorite songs before asking her to be his forever. But the surprises didn’t end there. After the proposal, Ivan led Roxanne to a nearby restaurant where her parents were waiting to celebrate with us. And then, to top it all off, Ivan took Roxanne and her parents on a snowy weekend trip to Whistler Ski Resort for more fun and celebration. With so many unforgettable memories already made, we’re beyond excited to begin the next chapter of our journey together. Please join us as we celebrate our love and this joyous union of marriage!
